Day 12: Read an inspiring book

For years I avoided reading books - seriously I had graduated with an architectural degree and thought I didn't need to do any more reading I had spent the last 7 years immersed in a sea of architectural history, sociology and theory of design, I needed a break! But here's the thing during that 10 year period of not reading I was unhappy, lost and disconnected from my source. 

10 years ago I immersed myself into the world of inspirational reading. The works of Jack Canfield, Wayne Dwyer, Deepak Choprah and John Maxwell would fill my mind on a daily basis. I was inspired to write and publish 12 of my own books and audio CDs.  We never stop learning and growing. Inspired books have the ability to stretch our minds and untap new levels of potential. I love the word 'inspired' it's to be 'in-spirited' with your life purpose - your source and your energy. Find a series of inspired books that move you to tears and have you questioning your passion and purpose and the outcomes that you want to experience in life.  Stay tuned for the release of my new book in July 2015 titled: 'I don't know what the HELL I'm doing!'

Day 11: 28 days of Gratitude

What you thank about you bring about. Gratitude is the fuel and the ignition source for everything you are pursuing in life. The more gratitude you express in the moment the more greatness you will attract into your life. Sounds simple right? You would be amazed as to how much we let days, weeks and months go by without expressing daily gratitude. Once you understand that we are all governed by the same universal laws and energy you will start to become highly intentional with your daily actions and expressions. 

Who can you thank right now? It can be the simplest little thing. The key is to get into a daily habit and become highly intentional with it. When we all start off each day with greater levels of gratitude the world starts to shift from an energy of 'it's all about me' to one of connection and contribution. 

Over the next 28 days make it a habit to express gratitude to at least three people a day. See and feel the universe conspiring in your favour bringing the people and resources your way as a result. Let gratitude open up your heart and your world to new and inspiring opportunities.

Day 10: Read your vision each day

What have you asked the universe for? What is the bigger vision for your life? It's not enough to ask for it once. You have to nurture and feed your mind with it everyday. The greatest minds that came long before us never stopped fixating on their vision. Walt Disney built massive models of his dream park concepts and every morning he would sit, stare, imagine and believe it was possible. You have to WILL your WHY into existence by taking daily action every single day. Everyday I carry around a pocket journal with me and I start off my morning reading aloud the three things I am creating in my life. I look at the accompanying visuals pasted in my journal and I take powerful action by feeling my vision into existence. I know that I am the architect of my life and everyday I am fired up to be and live it. Thank you for today.

Day 9: Create a positive physical state

What is the state of your mind? How are you choosing to handle discomfort and adversity? Are you fueling your dreams and desires with it or are you letting it hold you down from becoming the person you know you can be. Everything you are receiving is the result of the thoughts you choose and the actions you take. Become intentional with creating a positive physical state - it ultimately impacts your mental, emotional and spiritual state-of-mind. 

Every morning dedicate yourself to creating your hour of power. Make this time your masterpiece and let it fuel your day. Summon your greatness by conditioning your mind body and soul. Let it inject new levels of self-awareness and fuel your passion and purpose. To reach new levels of greatness requires new levels of physical well-being. See your body not just as a physical machine but as a sacred temple housing your spirit that is meant to aim high and fly. 

Day 8: Share your dream

When you share your intention with others great things start to happen and your world begins to open. The chapter of your life that you wish to write begins to unfold. The train that will take you to your destination appears. The people that will surround and lift you up begin to surface. This is the power of becoming intentional with yourself and the world you wish to create. You are the architect of your brilliant life. You are the conductor, you set the course. You are the composer, you create the notes. You are the author, you create the next verse. 

Today share your dream with the world. We need to know where you're going and we're standing by to lift you up.

Day 7 Dream Again: write out your dream

What is your dream? How do you see living it? Where will you be in 5 years and more importantly how will you feel knowing you have arrived? Going day by day and hoping that your life will change is an illusion reserved for the movies. You have to become intentional and on fire with desire for creating the life you imagine. It's only going to happen by you taking control of it, writing it out in vivid detail. 

Close your eyes and see yourself meeting up with your future self in 5 years. What are you wearing? Where are you living? How is your energy? Are you at peace? What does it feel like? How are you being of service to others and to the world. Write out this beautiful and gorgeous vision of the life that you wish to create. Fill up the pages with love and passion then read it aloud every single day and take one powerful action everyday that would connect you even more to your vision. Give yourself permission to dream again.

Day 6: Visualize your ideal day

Imagine every day as a masterpiece. It's possible when you set the intention. It's far to easy to stay in the same routine hoping and wishing that things will change. You have to be that change. You can set your course today to experience greater joy or more inner peace. It starts with the small things like attracting a friendly smile, a loving embrace or words of encouragement from an unexpected source. 

What do you want to experience today? What would make today your masterpiece? Visualizing your day in advance just takes a bit of practice and intention. You are the one that will drive the result so decide what you want most take action and make it happen.

Day 5: Get inspired by other dreamers

What and who inspires you to dream again? Look around in your universe, who do you admire and why? How are they dreaming everyday? What actions are they taking? What are the hundreds of things they say no to everyday in order to say yes to the few that matter? Who do they surround themselves with. I'm pretty sure it's with people that want to lift them up. 

You probably don't have to look that far to discover greatness is all around you ready to tap into. Make a list of the dreamers you admire and read their story. Good artists copy but great artists steal so get inspired and model their actions. Become a master modeller of others. Set a goal to transform yourself little by little but commit to it everyday - that's the key. The dreamers of the world never stop pursuing what matters most to them.

Dream Again Day 4: Write out your 5 year vision

It's 5 years from now and you've just met up with your future self. You look and feel really great by the way. Where do you see yourself living? What kind of life are you leading? What dreams became a reality? 
How are you now savouring your life each moment? When you fixate on your life you create your life. You have the power to manifest what and how you wish to live but you have to get intentional with it. You have to see it and believe it's possible. Today write out your 5 year vision of the perfect day. Project yourself out into the future. Keep this vision close to you at all times and read it out loud every day. 

You are the master architect of your life - the conductor of your symphony. You can either choose to see and create your desired life or live through the eyes of others. I choose to see and feel the life I wish to experience and it's my greatest wish for you.

Dream Again Day 3: Ask yourself some BIG questions.

Why do we avoid the really BIG questions knowing that it's the really BIG questions that will take us from where we are to where we want to be? Humans are conditioned to resist change. It's an inherent characteristic that we all share. They key is to recognize that fact and push yourself daily by becoming comfortable with the 'uncomfortable'. Ask and then live the really BIG questions like: Why am I here? What is my purpose - how can the world benefit from me sharing my special gifts? What do I need to let go of and more importantly, what do I need to embrace? 

Let go of the past and embrace this present moment - it's all you've got and it's the only thing that will move you to where you need to be.

Dream Again Day 2: Create a Vision Board

You need to see where you are going in order to arrive at your destination. You need to feel the feelings of having already acheived it. This is what stops most people from moving themselves from where they currently are to where they need to be. Create an inspired vision board for your life. See yourself in 5 years and architect the end goal. Once you see that you are a creator and a conductor you will master your life. Use images and words that really move you into action. Pour your heart and all of your inspired energy towards creating it. 

I love inspired vision boards - they allow you to really live the energy of the moment. I post them everywhere as a reminder of all the great things that I am creating in this moment.  Your vision board becomes your life map leading you towards your ultimate destination.

Dream Again: Day 1 - Create a day for Dreaming

It's far to easy to lose sight of your dream as a result of living the daily grind. It's easy to blame the external world - soceity, your job, your former spouse for the reasons you don't have time to dream again. It's easy to hit that snooze button over and over again. You've conditioned yourself to live a rushed lifestyle - blasting out of the house from one thing to the next. Everyday looks like the previous 300 with little diversity in sight. You've created habits and you are where you are as a result of repeating the same insanity over and over again. So how do you break through this change? 

I know that where you are is not where you want to be. I know that deep inside of you is a dream waiting to rise to the surface. You have to get intentional about it. Create a daily ritual for dreaming. It can literally take you 20 minutes by sitting in silence early in the morning when your mind is fresh and uncluttered with the energy of the day. Fixate on your dream. Create a day for dreaming - one day a week just take off and drive to your favourite spot by the lake and write out your future aspirations in a journal. You have to become intentional about your future self and your dreams. It's your life to create and to live.

Are you willing?

What are you willing to do to pursue your dream? What are you willing to give up and sacrifice to reach that finish line? What are you willing to say to yourself in the mirror each morning? Who are you willing to forgive? What are you willing to stop doing so you can make room for what you need to do? Close your eyes and meet up with your future self in 5 years. Listen with your heart the guidance that your future self is telling you. Are you paying attention yet? Some things just need to change for you to change. You have to be willing to quit just as easily as you need to stick with only the few actions that will lead you to your promise land. 

I'm willing to let go of everything that has ever held me back. I'm willing to lean in with even greater passion and purpose for the life that I choose to create. I'm willing to serve and lead others to be the best version of themselves. I'm willing to never give up on my dreams no matter how many rejections I receive.
